Looking from Thurstonland towards Honley, this work captures the shifting light across the valley, with bright foreground greens set against the darker wooded slopes and the softer hills beyond. Layered washes and marks build depth and movement across the surface, while the fence post anchors the composition and guides the eye through the landscape.
Original artwork presented in a custom solid oak frame with an archival-quality double mount and non-reflective museum glass. The smaller inner mount subtly picks up the painting’s warm golden tones, adding depth and focus to the presentation while preserving clarity and colour under glass.
