Fernery at Brodsworth Hall – Exploratory Study
Not every study develops into a finished artwork. Some are created simply to explore colour, texture and atmosphere, helping to capture the character of a place and inform future work. This mixed media study was inspired by the fernery at Brodsworth Hall, using layered mark-making and expressive colour to explore the feeling of the space rather than record every detail.
